Introduction and Location

Seneca Ranch; Second Chance Youth Ranch, works with Troubled Adolescents in a kind, humane and non-evasive manor. Seneca Ranch provides a safe and secure Environment for Adolescents seeking to change their lives and a Island of hope for the Families seeking to help their child. Seneca is a great choice for any teen who may be struggling in their home, school or community. Its Program Process is similar in some ways to Boot Camps, Wilderness Therapy Programs, Military Schools or other Specialty Youth Boarding Schools. Seneca Ranch is located in the Carolina's Beautiful Upstate, near Andersen SC and provides a safe environment far away from inappropriate friends or influences.
 

Student body; What kind of Student Needs Our Services

Seneca Troubled Youth Ranch works with Students that typically need a change in their existing environment. Allot of these students have a multiplicity of Issues ranging from ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) to Oppositional Defiant Disorder to Students with Substance Abuse Issues or other Issues such as Inappropriate relationships with opposite sex and being sexually permissive. Often these students needs are sought to be addressed in different kinds of Environments ranging from Boot Camps, Wilderness Therapy Programs, Military Schools, and or Specialty Boarding Schools.

Working Ranch & Christian Camp Program

Seneca Ranch is a working 500 acre horse and cattle ranch, providing students a rare opportunity to work daily on the Ranch. It operates a 200 head Beef cattle and Spanish Thoroughbred Horse farm. Seneca Ranch Provides full Schooling, point merit system, and full emotional growth process including Therapy to facilitate Change. We have found that our down home family ranch atmosphere works better in most cases in dealing with students with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) to Oppositional Defiant Disorder to Students with Substance Abuse Issues or other Issues such as Inappropriate relationships with opposite sex  than the Boot Camps, Wilderness Therapy Programs, Military Schools. We also teach old fashioned values of Honesty Integrity and Hard work that begins to shape new horizons in the hearts and minds of the students in our care.
